When I was in my early twenties I lost my four babies (three miscarriages, and one set of twins) to death by violence and stress in my home.
As time moved on, I was informed by doctors that I would never be able to bare my own children. I was devastated. It was one of the coldest winters of my life. I had no desire to live. My life at that present time was meaningless without a child of my own.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction”.– Prov.1:7
Years ago when I worked at a Pack Station in the Eagle Cap Mountains of Eastern Oregon there was a young man that was quite a know it all that worked there as well. You couldn’t tell this 19 year old anything that he didn’t all ready know, and know better.
At the Pack Station we had a young gelding that was full of vim and vigor. That horse wasn’t quite ready yet to take a string of mules behind him, nor was he ready to lead a group of city slickers into the rocky mountains of the Eagle Caps. |

The following article by Don Potter has some great points for more than just Christian musicians. All Christians will deal with this spirit. A person who is battling rejection will be drawn in by flattery if they are not aware of its craft. As the saying goes,"Flattery is like friendship in show, but not in fruit."
