Famine of the Hearing Ear

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, not thirst of water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it." (Amos 8:11-12)

For you and me, this famine would not come by the lack of God's word being preached, written, recorded, or whatever other avenue we may have, but through the vast overload of information that is presently available.

The global system of interconnected computer networks not only has served billions of users worldwide, but has also been active in gathering the Body of Christ together more than any other resource created by man. Web sites, blogging, and web feeds, internet forums and social networkings has enabled and accelerated information and knowledge to such an extent that for the young Christian or Biblically illiterate it can be detrimental to their spiritual growth if not careful.

Never has a generation had so much access to information, and never has a generation been so puffed up with head knowledge as we see today. Yes, they wander from sea to sea, from north to south, east to west, running to and fro seeking God's word, but cannot find satisfaction for more head knowledge (2 Tim.3:7). Human knowledge without Holy Spirit is like the head of a "donkey" and the droppings of a dove after it has flown away (2 Kings 6:25). (1 Cor.8:1; Eph.4:14).

Who Drives You?
There is spiritual hunger that is Holy Spirit driven and flowing from the Tree of Life. And there is a flesh driven hunger for greater knowledge that remains stupefied - ever seeking, but never finding the treasure of God's word.

The flesh driven knowledge is bound to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. We may have knowledge of good things, but it may not be God things. We may do good things all day long, but outside of the Tree of Life they are nothing in the sight of the Lord (Matt.7:21-23).

Holy Spirit driven knowledge is the mind of Christ flowing from the Tree of Life. It's from this place that we "demonstrate" what that "good" and acceptable and perfect will of God is (Rom.12:2).

Feed His Sheep - Feed His Lambs (Jn. 21:15-17)

There has been rich revelation and knowledge that has unfortunately been fed to those who have not the ability to digest what they have been fed. (Please read Force Without Wisdom Falls On It's Own Weight - by Traci Carson)

The spiritually young vitally need to be, and must allow themselves to be properly mentored. Just as a young child is not given the car keys until they are capable, we must also be aware that the spiritually young should not be given certain keys to the Kingdom without having the proper foundation set underneath them (Is.28:10; 1 Cor.13:11; 1 Pet.2:2).

At nine years old I was driving our old stick shift jeep on the farm; however, I wasn't given the keys and thrown behind the stirring wheel while my dad stepped back to see how it all turned out. No, he patiently taught me how to drive, and at nine years old I was capable to do so quite well. It is not the age of a person, it is the mentoring and ability to apply what they have been taught.

A Remnant of Forerunners Who Will Offend the Elite
As a prophet, I see things Corporately, not just locally. I see beyond our local fellowship and region. My reason for pointing this out is due to responses how about how well their local fellowship is doing. Gary and I certainly understand the blessing there. We are thankful for our local body of believers and their growth in Christ; however, the Lord has also given us a deep burden for the Corporate Body as well.

What I see presently is a remnant of people who are allowing themselves to be humbled and transitioned from glory to Glory, no matter how uncomfortable or humiliating it may be. They are not presumptuous by following fads and movements. This remnant remains steadfast, their forehead is set like flint towards the purpose of Christ. For a number of people however, this discomfort has led them back into a place of false comfort, and also a leading by the spirit of this age (Eph.6:12).

There will be a greater number of people who are going to be deeply offended by those within the remnant. What the religious spirit fails to understand is - it's a heart issue.

You can mark my word, we are about to see a movement take place that is going to offend and stun the religious multitude, especially those who have been Spirit baptized for years. We will see Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, Seventh-Day-Adventists, etc. as well as the isms and schisms supernaturally baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire because they are desperately hungry for the Truth. Let me say it clearly; it is those who receive Christ and follow Him (Jn.14:6). There is not many paths to the Truth. There is only one Way, one Truth, one Life, and it is through Christ Jesus Himself - Amen!

Don't Be Distracted
We must be very careful during this transitional season, not to move outside of Holy Spirit's leading. We should be patient, allowing His impressions upon our heart and mind to transform us. The numerous articles and words that have been written and spoken are presently becoming less. This does not mean there will be no articles or word from the Lord, but it does mean the words given will be carefully weighed before delivering to God's people. There is a Holy reverence taking place, a rightly dividing of what is the Lord. Those who honor God's Word through His walking epistles will be strengthened in their spiritual receptivity.

Beloved, be very careful of all the hoopla that is taking place. Some of you are in a good place with the Lord. Be still, and know He is preparing you for the events that are at hand. Don't move ahead of Him, and don't become complacent. Be steadfast in Him, and don't allow yourself to be distracted by what others are doing. Keep your hand to the plow, don't look to the left or the right, nor look behind you. Keep your focus on the Beloved.

The Lord wants to encourage you to apprehend His truth spoken through Apostle Paul; He has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and the things which are nothing to crush man's pride in those things that he has built himself (1 Cor.1:27). The Lord's purpose shall be accomplished through a people who don't look for an escape route, but press on and into Him no matter how fierce the opposition (Is.55:11; 2 Thess. 1:10).

"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand (Is.41:10)."

In Loving Memory of Wade Taylor

It seems that life stood still for the multitude who heard the news that Wade Taylor had passed on into Glory February 29th, 2012. He had become one of Gary and my dearest friends. He was not only a friend to untold numbers, but also an extraordinary father in the faith.

He was known by heaven as a faithful friend of God, a man who received powerful revelatory breakthrough with a burning desire to impart into those who had the spiritual receptivity to conceive.

Untold numbers will never be the same due to the great treasures Wade deposited from heaven. As someone shared recently, "His messages were like rain on roses. Our spirits were opened, revived and refreshed again and again.

Wade, my friend, we are eternally grateful for the time we had with you. Thank you for your love and friendship. Forever you are loved and cherished and will be greatly missed.

Impartation

To be “anointed” and to have the ability to “impart” are different, but they relate and work together.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor….” Luke 4:18

For us to be anointed means that a “divine enabling” rests upon us. Whatever we do or say, we will do it better, according to the level of anointing to which we have attained.

“For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end you may be established.” Romans 1:11

The ability to “impart ” includes, but goes beyond our being anointed. If we have this God given ability of impartation, then whatever we say or do, under an anointing, will deeply affect those who are hearing. Also, the very “substance” of His being (Jesus) will be imparted into the spirit of those who are responsive.

“I love them that love Me; and those that seek Me early shall find Me. That I may cause those that love Me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.” Proverbs 8:17, 21

Our “treasures being filled ” can be understood as a branch receiving an impartation through the life of the vine. To receive, it must be properly attached to the vine.

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5

This ability to impart relates to our having a quality personal relationship with Jesus (those who seek Me early ). This promise, “I will fill their treasures” is the direct result of impartation. A committed Christian who has this ability to “impart” will stand out from all others.

John W. Follette, who deeply affected my life and ministry, had resident within him an exceptional anointing, along with the ability to impart. Very often, when he finished speaking, people would say to him, “Please, would you continue to speak?” Or, “I could listen to you for hours.”

They were responding, not so much to the depth of the Word that he ministered, or to the exceptional anointing that rested upon him, but rather, to the “impartation” that was flowing through him, into their spirit. Through the gift of impartation, he became a conduit through which the very life of God flowed into their spirit. They were being fed spiritually and somehow knew that they were receiving something special (divine substance).

“It is the Spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: The words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life.” John 6:63

The gift of “prophetic revelation” gives us what to say. Then, through our being anointed, it can be imparted to another. I pray much about my being both prophetic and anointed - with the ability to impart. I spend time in the presence of our Lord, that I might have within me “spiritual substance,” so I might impart that which I have received from the Lord.

The important thing is not the words themselves, nor the understanding of these words, but the impartation of “spirit and life ” - spiritual substance flowing out through these anointed words, into the spirits of those who are receptive.

Prophetic revelation gives us the words to speak. The anointing enables us to speak these words that we have been given. Then, through impartation, these words become “spirit and life” and flow into the depths of those who have a “hearing ear.” Thus, those who are spiritually receptive will feel “something” (divine substance) flowing into them - the life of the vine (Jesus), flowing into the branch (us ), apart from the message, and they will want more as they recognize that their spirit is being fed.

“So being desirous of you, we are well-pleased to impart to you not only the good news of God, but also our own souls, because beloved you have become to us.” I Thessalonians 2:8 Young’s Translation

Not only is the “anointed word” imparted, but the “spiritual substance” of the life of the one who ministers is also imparted. This ability to “impart ” is developed through our spending quality time with Jesus, asking specifically for this ability to impart, which will feed the spirits of those who are spiritually hungry and open to receive that which we have to share with them.

To have logical facts and information is good, but in itself, these do not feed our spirit. The “anointing” will greatly improve our ability to speak these facts. But, only “impartation” will feed our spirit.

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery (impartation) , even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world to our glory.” I Corinthians 2:7

Impartation is intangible, that is, it is a “spiritual substance” that is attached to the words. Then, as a “hitchhiker,” it rides into the spirit of those who are spiritually hungry. These may not understand what is happening, but they will know that they are being fed, and they will respond in appreciation.

“And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.” I Corinthians 2:1-4

Paul said that his speaking was not with the words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit. This “demonstration of the spirit ” is the impartation that is taking place, which has nothing to do with the words themselves. It is divine life and energy flowing from the speaker into the one who is receptive.

“You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” I Peter 2:5

Our being a “lively stone” means that we have become “Christ active (divine radiation);” that is, wherever we are, or whatever we do or say, through impartation , we are transmitting what we have become – the life of our Lord imparted within us, through our times of fellowship and communion with Him.

May each of us have this ability to impart “spirit and life” as being “spiritual substance,” into those with whom we share the Word.

The Full Restoration of the Apostolic

There will be a full restoration of the Apostolic with the power and authority that the early Church experienced.

“Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.” II Corinthians 12:12

This power and authority was totally lost during the Dark Ages. Toward the end of this time of religious darkness, Martin Luther rose up against the selling of indulgences and proclaimed that salvation cannot be purchased or earned, but is given by the Lord as a free gift. As a result, a true “pastoral” ministry was restored to the Body of Christ.

The understanding of salvation gradually began to unfold. Then came the belief that because we are saved by grace and become a “new creation,” there should be visible evidence of this. John Wesley began to teach the process of sanctification, and the Methodist (method) movement was born. As a result, a “teaching” ministry was restored to the Body of Christ.

Many began to be stirred, being convinced that this salvation, which had changed their lives, should be shared with others. Whitfield and others began to proclaim the Gospel of grace and as a result, the “evangelist” was restored to the Church.

Following this, the need to be “empowered” for the outworking of these ministries became apparent, and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit became a reality, beginning in 1901 on New Years Eve, in Wichita, Kansas. This experience then spread to the Azusa Street Mission in California, and then around the world.

“But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

During the “Latter Rain Visitation” in the mid 1940’s, the Lord moved in manifest power. As a result of this, the “prophetic” was restored to the Body of Christ.

Through the operation of this prophetic ministry, it became evident that there is to be a “five-fold ministry” operating within the Church.

“And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets; and some as evangelists; and some as pastors and teachers; for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-12 NAS

According to this passage of Scripture, five distinct operations of ministry are to be in operation within the Church. In the above progression that began with Martin Luther, each of these ministries has been restored to the Body of Christ, with the exception of the Apostolic.

This restoration of the “Apostolic” should have taken place during the time of the Charismatic visitation, which began during the mid 1980’s. Instead, this visitation centered in the prosperity message and in the gift ministries, especially healing.

Therefore, the restoration of the Apostolic did not take place, so the time of this restoration is still future.

A true Apostolic ministry will be both creative and authoritative. Primarily, it has to do with the setting of each member of the Body of Christ into their particular place, that through this “placement,” they might properly function under the authority of the Head.

In a functioning apostolic ministry, there will be both “consequence and effect.”

“And God said, let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:3

“Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.” II Corinthians 12:12

In the present religious environment, the Word of the Lord can be accepted or rejected with little noticeable consequence. This is about to change as the Apostolic realm is about to be restored. The Word will again be ministered by those to whom this Apostolic power and authority has been given.

For any authority to be effective, enforcement is required. This happened with Ananias and Sapphira, as there was an immediate consequence to their lie (Acts 5:1-10). The time for this full restoration and functioning of the Apostolic order is close at hand.

The full restoration of this Apostolic ministry requires the laying on of the Lord’s hands.

When Judas was to be replaced, the Apostles knew that the replacement had to be one who had seen Jesus.

“Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not you my work in the Lord?” I Corinthians 9:1

This is yet true today. As we approach the Millennial Kingdom Age, the Lord is about to begin appearing to those who have been chosen by Him, and He will place His hand upon them. The result will be a full restoration of the Apostolic with power and authority, with signs following.

Also, to be qualified for the Apostolic office requires a prior time of extensive “preparation and dealings,” as authority and power are not given to novices to be misused.

The Lord is very careful as to whom He gives creative authority. Therefore, He is severely “testing” many to see how they respond, in preparation for the coming Apostolic restoration.

“For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.” Hebrews 12:6

These “sons” are those who have rightly responded to this time of “discipline” and as a result, have come to a level of maturity in which they can be trusted with responsibility.

In His first coming, Jesus chose a title to identify Himself as to who He was. He did not use the term “Messiah.” Rather, He identified Himself as “Jesus of Nazareth.” The religious people of that day were repulsed by this.

Nazareth was a city between the Jewish and the Gentile world. It was a dwelling place for a Jew who had married a Gentile, and therefore was rejected by the Jews. It was also a dwelling place for a Gentile who had married a Jew, and therefore was rejected by the Gentiles. Thus, neither side would accept them.

Had He chosen to be known as “Jesus of Bethlehem,” or as “Apostle Jesus,” He would have been accepted by all. In choosing to be known as “Jesus of Nazareth,” only those with “discernment” would know who He was. There were those who “perceived” that He had something special, such as Nicodemus, who called Him “Good Master.” Jesus did not need a title as there was something about Him that drew others.

In this coming restoration of the fullness of the Apostolic ministry, those who are being called to this ministry will have been so dealt with that they will be able to function with a “meek spirit,” always acknowledging Jesus as being their Head.

As a result, there will be an authoritative Apostolic ministry with “consequence” that will bring the Body into divine order.

Today, Christianity is taken lightly and is the brunt of many jokes. Soon, all that will change, and again the “fear of God” will be restored, as this restored Apostolic ministry with consequence begins to function.

We are told to covet the best gifts:

“But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet show I to you a more excellent way.” I Corinthians 12:31

The “best gift” would be this restored Apostolic ministry.

May we earnestly seek the best that is available to us.

"Overwhelming Grief... and Unspeakable Love"

When I was in my early twenties I lost my four babies (three miscarriages, and one set of twins) to death by violence and stress in my home.

As time moved on, I was informed by doctors that I would never be able to bare my own children. I was devastated. It was one of the coldest winters of my life. I had no desire to live. My life at that present time was meaningless without a child of my own.

But as the phrase goes, "Beautiful blooms are enhanced through the coldest of winters." Spring eventually came (a new and fresh season), and there was a young boy who needed my love. My loss was his gain, and his need was the beginning of my healing. What a difference a day (or a season) makes.

That was not the end of sorrow and pain, in fact throughout the years there has been tremendous loss and heart breaks that literally knocked the wind out of my sail for weeks, if not months at a time.

Most all of us could share stories that are painful and heart wrenching. As another saying goes by someone who has experienced tremendous pain and overcame, "The tears and sorrow are sacred. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief… and unspeakable love."

A veracious and steadfast love

Years ago, in a nursing home where I would visit and pray with the elderly, I met an incredible woman of God. I loved being with her, she was pure delight to my soul. Linda would laugh and share stories that often encouraged and strengthened me. When I withdrew from her presence I aways left better than when I arrived.

To look at Linda you would definitely see a woman who was dealt a life load of lemons; however, she made the sweetest lemon-aid with all the acid pulp that was given her. She was one of the homeliest women you could meet. When you first saw her it was difficult to face what you encountered as her body was completely covered with large warts. There was not one place on her body that was vacant from the warts. In spite of her appearance, she had the warmest smile that drew you close to her side. I found myself drawn to her and could not help but hug her. She was so endearing and lovable.

Those who allowed themselves could not help but fall in love with her person. When I hugged her I hoped to receive some of her incredible attributes. She was one of the most positive and beautiful people I had ever met in my life.

This dear woman had never been kissed by anyone other than her parents, and rarely held or touched, but yet her misfortune was replaced with a veracious and steadfast love for people. She powerfully impacted all who met her.

Throughout the years I have often thought of Linda while going through difficult times, or when feeling sorry for myself. Even during those silly outward self-examination times when you wake up, look in the mirror and see another line on your face that wasn't there the day before... "Wow, so this is what my face is saying about my life... every line and scar is a story."

What is beauty? Some of the most beautiful and handsome people I know are those who were and are rejected, despised and overlooked. They were never sought after due to natural reasoning by the people around them; however, the Lord has taken a singular interest in them. He is enraptured by their inward beauty and is able to come into His garden and eat its pleasant fruits (Song.4:16). Like my friend Linda, they stand on Jesus their solid Rock, rather than the quicksand of human reception.

Knowing the Lord beyond a handshake

Recently Gary and I received a phone call from a man in his early forties who has been battling cocaine and suicide. He is handsome, extremely gifted as a musician, and blessed with family and friends who have been there for him time and again over the years. He is a Christian who has not moved beyond the outer-court experience (Jesus the Savior, out of Egypt, natural light, natural walk, new birth experience, etc.). He was introduced to Christ years ago, and received Him as His Savior, but never allowed himself to intimately know the Lord beyond the hand shake experience.

Now the reality of life is confronting him. He has hit a wall that is demanding him to face the Truth. His choice will either set him free or keep him in bondage to the entanglement of fear and torment.

The reality of life is confronting all. Whether non-believers, make-believers, or Believers, this is a time where all are being confronted with who they really are. The heat is turned up, and for those who endeavor to walk in the righteousness of Christ and receive His beautiful grace, it is a beautiful season of transformation no matter how uncomfortable it may be at times.

There are numerous untold stories of Believers who have gone through much pain, turbulence and loss, and yet they come out the other side in humbled strength and power that slaps devils hell. They have learned through the trials and error, to just “Be” in Christ where His Peace precedes Power. These “Believers” (Heb.11:6) have chosen to be “better” rather than “bitter”.

Often we lose sight of things by our present condition. Your and my condition and circumstances do not change the Word of God. “Let God be true, but every man (flesh nature) a liar (Rom.3:4).” We must not allow anyone, ourselves included, or personal experiences to shape our lives other than Christ Himself.

Don't jump ship!

There are some who have, or are about to jump ship from the situation or circumstance at hand. This means one has abandoned their post and deserted the ship. Sailors when joining a ship are required to "sign on" for the duration of the voyage. They are "bound" to the ship and ordinarily cannot leave it until the long voyage ends or the ship returns to home port. In ancient times a sailor wishing to leave without authorization would jump over the side when near to land (hopefully unnoticed) and swim for it, abandoning their post and deserting the ship. This is where the term “They jumped ship” came from.

My thoughts go to apostle Paul when he said, “I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles... (Eph.3:1)

I therefore the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called… (Eph.4:1)

Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner." (1 Tim.1:8)
We are not our own; we were bought at a price, and its time we bow to Him who paid the price. (1 Cor.6:20)

There are places, people, things that may attempt to hinder our spiritual walk, however, if we are patient and allow our Lord to turn these events around He will, and for the better.

"...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance (patience) the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith... (Heb.12:1b)

There is nothing that can hold us back from the Lord’s purpose if we heed to His Word, and not stand in our own way, where everything seems to be in our way.

The Lord is speaking to you as He spoke to the man in Mark 9:23, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the man answered Him and said,“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Our Lord can deal with honesty. He will work unbelievable things in your and my life when we come before Him with an open and honest heart. He is the healer of the disappointed, angry, and broken hearted; however, it's our choice whether we give Him all the pieces or not.

2012 - "An Unconventional Year"

* I have a few things that I would like to express to you before I share.

As I prepare to communicate with those whom the Lord may have read these insights that He has impressed me with for the year 2012, I would like to advise that you would read with the intention of allowing the Holy Spirit to direct you to the Word of God for further confirmation and direction.

No one prophetic voice hears all, and it is a wise person who will listen to what the Lord would say through many individuals who have words to share. There will be a thread or theme that flows out of the multitude of voices, and the Lord will prune away what may well be opinions, personal expressions and flamboyance, or even sensational one-upmanship or eerie predictions filled with dread, or — maybe even ambiguous supernatural potential events.

Having shared this, please-as one of God’s own children, always return to His plumb line of the scripture to bring wisdom and balance to any prophetic words you may hear.

Let’s Begin:

2012 - An Unconventional Year

This will be a year where what often looks to be predictable and obvious will instead, go an entire different direction or take an unpredictable course.

The word “ Unconventional” has been the keynote word from the Lord to me.

The word unconventional means:

Unusual, irregular, unorthodox, unfamiliar, uncommon, unwonted, out of the ordinary, atypical, singular, alternative, different; new, novel, innovative, groundbreaking, pioneering, original, unprecedented; eccentric, idiosyncratic, quirky, odd, strange, bizarre, weird, outlandish, curious; abnormal, anomalous, aberrant, extraordinary; nonconformist, Bohemian, avant-garde; informal far out, offbeat, off the wall, wacky, madcap, oddball, zany, hippie, kooky, wacko.

GOD AND MAN AT ODDS
Many have built platforms and empires within their own self-created spheres that have brought for some, great levels of visibility and success. This applies heavily to corporate leaders as well as those holding on to the concept spiritually that one key leader is the “voice” for the many.

2012 will be a year where the abuses of power will continue to be not only exposed and addressed, but will also appallingly be made public and drug through more and more media mud slinging.

Again, the Lord has graciously given time to those who still cling to entitlement and an attitude of “specialness," presuming they are more anointed, more brilliant and who have consistently attempted to be notable authorities, without having the personal lives behind the scene, that honor the heart and purposes of God.

It will be as if a box has been opened for all to see its hidden contents, or perhaps a drape drawn back to see what is hidden behind it. Plagiarism will be rampant in publications in both specular and spiritual genres. It will expose poor scholarship and rushed materials meant to entice hearts and to stroke the ego of the writer.

All of this the Father has warned over and over again within the heart of those now seared by greed and weak confidence in God’s plan and chosen times for promotions.

“ Some became fools through their rebellious ways,
And suffered affliction because of their iniquities.”
Psalm 107:17

TURNING AWAY FROM PRESUMPTION
So often the Lord has had to deal with the issue of His people presuming that, “They know how” He-The Lord will or — “should” move in certain settings, only to be gravely disappointed and shocked when it appears as if the opposite happens.

To presume means to take for granted that something exists or is the case. It also means to make unjustified demands; take liberties.

Unless we as believers become solidly and firmly trained up in the study of the Scripture, not just the memorizing and quoting of it randomly, there will continue to be fractured teaching and many bizarre approaches to what is the plan of God for his people on planet earth.

“And He said to them, be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you--and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”
Mark 4:24

“Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved [tested by trial], a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15

POSTURING OR PARENTING?
As the Lord continues to build and establish the model of genuine “Apostolic Fathering and Mothering," in 2012 there will be a notable “fork in the road” for those called to this daunting assignment from Heaven.

The Father has asked me to lovingly but firmly warn those who are now in the possible place of having broader influences over another generation of developing young and tender leaders, to be very aware of where they stand.

A healthy and wise parent or mentor will train, model and provide safe boundaries for their children or students to grow and learn to step out into, knowing that they will experience difficulties and hardships, as well as many exciting growth spurts.

Those who need to have a following or remain as “cool and hip” as the young people they mentor will face a serious clash in the days ahead of them. Name dropping, self promoting of their spiritual acumen and harsh or condescending talking down to those in their care will result in being disqualified from moving into the next promise of Apostolic training and mentoring centers, which the Lord has been preparing for several decades.

You CAN teach an old Dog New Ways ...
....If you bring in the MASTER trainer.

Saying things like “This is the way that you are” or that you are “set in your ways” exposes willfulness and a need for control. So does boasting that you have worked hard and have “earned” your title and position.” Those who posture or continue to tout their “higher levels of knowledge and insight” will become a sour source of reference, and the King of heaven will not bless them with further influence.

They now have a choice to set things right with those whom they have “kept under their thumbs” and whom have not been allowed to move into to the fullness of their calling. Choose the path of humbling yourselves in the sight of the Lord.

His example of lowliness and the release of others into the harvest fields will be the only model that Father will bless in the days ahead.

I believe all human fatherhood should be patterned...

The Lord would have these whom are standing in this place of decision know that it does not matter that you have done mighty or impressive things in the past years. That is past and gone. You have received your rewards. Move now into a place where inclusiveness in Kingdom equality and honor are practiced openly and freely.

Those who still have the aloof approach in sharing of honor and position will be eventually left on their own, having exhausted and exasperated those whom they were supposed to train and release.

ANOTHER GENERATION ALSO SHINES BRIGHTLY
Let the up and coming leaders in other generations shine in what they do! Don’t compete or try to be as “cool” as they are in their genre of expression. Let GO!

“Fathers, do not exasperate [harass — provoke — embitter — aggravate] your children that they may not lose heart and become discouraged.”
Colossians 3:21

He who always finds fault with a child; who is never satisfied with what he does; who scolds and frets and complains will eventually break his spirit, and soon destroys in the delicate texture of his soul all desire of doing well.

The child in despair soon gives over every effort to please. He becomes sullen, morose, stupid, and indifferent to all the motives that can be presented to him, and becomes to a great extent indifferent as to what he does — since all that he does meets with the same reception from the parent.

“Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.”

THE POWERLESS AGAINST THE MIGHTY
The Father in heaven has an exclusive responsibility towards His people and He cries out to them through the Holy Spirit that just as he moved on behalf of Asa and his men when surrounded by a vast army and 300 chariots, so will He move again on behalf of those who are obedient to His voice and commands.

He tells you at this time...
... To put HIM between yourself and the enemy.

When Asa realized his lack of strength… THEN he saw Jehovah God crush the Cushites. They were “Crushed before the Lord and their foes.” 2Chronicles 14:13

Then Asa called to the LORD his God and said, "LORD, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O LORD our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God; let not man prevail against You."

THE “BUGLE” TO BE “FRUGAL”
There will be several “invented” crisis settings in 2012 that will cause many to choose to hoard and stockpile for themselves. They will be quickly exposed as moneymaking schemes and a tool to inflate prices.

Oh the other side of this there will be those who have very little with which to live and eat due to job losses and cutbacks. Those around them, if not filled with the fruits of Grace and Mercy, will become indifferent to the cry of their needs, for there will be many.

“Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.”
Isaiah 58:7

The Lord would have me share that He is indeed watching to see if the heart of the Apostolic move of God can be again modeled as when the people brought what they had to trusted and integral teams of leaders, who then distributed with prayer and wisdom to all, and none had any lack.

We are at a time where the Body of Christ must share resources willingly and fairly and not justify personal strictures that apply to others, but not themselves.

Here is a scriptural measuring stick to use to observe the true Apostolic heart and Leader.

Psalm 112:9
They share freely and give generously to those in need.
Their good deeds will be remembered forever.
They will have influence and honor.

FINAL PROPHETIC WORDS
THE UK - IRELAND – FRANCE
GERMANY – CANADA

“Then I was told, You are to make a fresh prophecy
concerning many peoples and races and nations,
And languages and kings.” Revelation 10:11

The United Kingdom
There will be a ROAR of Prayer heard from desperate hearts in the UK. Prayer will be a way of life in many small Hamlets and Villages, and many homes will become chapels of healing and miracles.

The prostitution red light districts in Central London will have an epic move of God as He sends in intercessors in tandem with relevant and fiery Revivalists who will have such a strong presence of God with the Power of Holy Spirit bringing conviction, that even the hardest atheist observing it all will be made to run away in terror at the potent power of God falling upon the filth of prostitution.

Joel 2:25
And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten--the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, my great army, which I sent among you.

Houses of hope and care will spring up in smaller surrounding areas, where these whom have once been bound will be cared for and restored.

Galatians 6:1
BRETHREN, IF any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also.

Ireland
There are many hidden and faithful leaders who have weathered political and spiritual storms for decades who are now well prepared and ready for the Father’s divine plan for their lives.

Ireland will begin to export teams of Apostolic and Prophetic missionaries into the USA and Europe. These people will have a razor sharp ability to cast out religious spirits hindering moves of God. They will bring with them the fresh songs of praise and worship now ready for the hungry ears of the true worshiper.

The “cynical” Irishman will now become the grand believer declaring — “With God all things are possible”!

There will be a spotlight on Ireland with new technologies being developed and mined there. With it, doors will open for many to travel to Ireland and find Father and Mother mentors ready to restore, train, and release.

France and Germany
The Father calls France, “A nation now in chaos”. But as an underground stream flows swiftly and quietly, so do those who have determined to pray and intercede with heart wrenching pleas for the Father to move within their land.

A spiritual passivity will begin to be addressed and shaken off of the hearts of fearful and hidden believers. There will begin to be a few strong and ethical governmental leaders rise up who will begin to risk addressing the rapidly encroaching militant attacks against the people of France and its outlying regions. There will be community vigils of prayer in local churches and the repenting of passiveness and elitist thinking.

German and French believers will begin to view one another in a Kingdom perspective and join in prayer and service to one another, creating a groundswell of food pantries with farmers and dairies that will create CO-OPs.

The key to breaking the spiritual stagnation in France will be the humbling of hearts before the Throne of God, and reaching out beyond its own borders.

Ephesians 2: 14
For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us.

Germany
Germany will have a large revolt and uprising from among the youth as the economy continues to stress and bend. Looting and the stealing and selling of automobiles will become a raging epidemic.

"For when the world with all its earthly wisdom failed to perceive and recognize and know God by means of its own philosophy, God in His wisdom was pleased through the foolishness of preaching [salvation, procured by Christ and to be had through Him], to save those who believed (who clung to and trusted in and relied on Him)."
1 Corinthians 1:21

Simultaneously, young street evangelists who have been well trained as well as educated will be commissioned to reach out to those rioting and manifesting. Government leaders will not know what to do with the uproar, and sanctions against open religious expressions will be put in place.

Nevertheless, young Paul’s and Silas’s will not fear what man can do to them and will continue to flow in the power of Evangelism, seeing the hand of God spare the lives of many.

Jonah 3:2
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach and cry out to it the preaching that I tell you.

CANADA
Canada will experience one of its most prosperous seasons ever known, for a short season.

The Lord would have Canada know that they must deal fairly with the wealth that they will produce and pay back the First Native families, and with Godly equity. If this is not addressed with wisdom and integrity, Canada will have to pass through the sorrows of disobedience.

Canadian Intercessors are being awakened and called up to stand in the place of prayer for its leaders and tribes. Now is not the time for silliness and laughter.

It is a sober day, with a command for sober prayers.

Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect).
1 Thessalonians 5:6

“Get up! Stand UP! Be Purposeful,” says the Lord. How do you not know that through your borders I can bring a North American "Wave of Justice and Restoration?”

1 Peter 1:13
So brace up your minds; be sober (circumspect, morally alert); set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace (divine favor) that is coming to you when Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is revealed.

Truth Revealed

The friend of God! Such a distinction is clearly considered one of man’s greatest honors. Even so, that opportunity is granted to those who abide in Christ and His Word abides in them. The time has now arrived for the friends of Christ to begin to restore what has been stolen from the church. This will involve many areas of recovery involving our lost heritages. Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; this very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you. For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim. And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; and I will make you like a warrior's sword –Zechariah 9:12 13.

The Lord is even going to begin to restore past relationships that our enemy has destroyed, delayed or neutralized. Relationships destroyed by rumors, gossip, and internal wounding will be supernaturally mended by the Lord during this season of the Spirit. I have experienced this myself in recent months as the Lord has wonderfully restored friendships with many that I love very much.

The Restorer of the breach will recondition us with the Spirit of Truth and a new wall of protection will be constructed to surround the true church. Plumb-line revelation of God's word is about to be established with clarity and power. It is around that Message of Truth that many will rally with divine alliances and unity that transcends present understanding.
The Lord is the restorer of the breach and the repairer of the broken walls...He is the restorer of former streets and dwellings and the One who un-stops old wells.

Truth RevealedThe prophet Daniel recognized this generation and described it as the "time of the end," in which knowledge will increase and great mysteries of the Kingdom will be revealed. Many believers are entreating the Lord to show great and mighty (hidden and set apart) things we presently do not know. The prophet Jeremiah was given the following promise when he spoke on behalf of the Lord:

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know. —Jeremiah 33:3

If we are instructed to earnestly call upon the Lord, then its clear implication is that we will be endowed with the ability to hear from Him with precision and clarity! In this way, we will understand the articulation of prominent and awesome things that we presently do not know. It will be the unveiling of divine truth and the blueprint of Heaven for our time.

Our Source of Truth

In our quest to understand truth, we can turn to only one source as our absolute standard by which all truth is weighed—the Word of God. The revealed truth—gleaned from the merger of the Word and the Spirit—provides all that we need in this life and the one to come. Through redemption, the covenant promises and blessings are made available to us, as well as the unveiling of the nature and character of God.

The Scriptures and the spiritual impartation they convey are the only pattern by which we may know with certainty the events and directions of the future. They are the only source that satisfactorily answers the questions: Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going?

As someone once said: "Time can take nothing from the Bible. It is the living monitor. Like the sun, it is the same in its life and influence to humanity this day as it was years ago. It can meet every present inquiry and console every present loss."

Resident within the heart of spirit-filled believers should inherently be a great love for the Scriptures and for the truth they convey. It is the sword that separates spirit from soul—light from darkness. Although we are eternally grateful for the understanding we now have, deep wells of spiritual insight, mysteries, and truth remain to be discovered.

Vast Oceans of Truth

Perhaps many today can understand Sir Isaac Newton's perceptions when he wrote:"I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me."

An ocean of divine truth exists before us to be discovered by those anointed with the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. Ephesians 1:17-18 emphasizes the right of every believer to be anointed with the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. This wisdom is not merely the ability to mentally analyze a situation and make a good response. Rather, it is a spiritual endowment that allows a believer to explore deep into the heart of the Father, to perceive and understand the mysteries of the Kingdom and one's rights purchased through Christ's redemption.

Not only do we have the liberty to understand vast spiritual mysteries, but also the accompanying Spirit of Revelation to give illumination and comprehension of their reality. By them we may know:

1. What is the hope of His calling . . .
2. What are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints . . .
3. What is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe . . . —Ephesians 1:18-19

But there must be an anointing resting upon our spiritual eyes that we may see and our ears that we may hear—anointed eyes and ears. Presently we have a very limited understanding of the rich deposit of truth inherent in the Scriptures. Part of our mandate during this time in history is to unfold and demonstrate great redemptive truths as part of the hidden manna set apart and reserved for the end-time generation. Those with spiritual comprehension will have great insight and shine brilliantly in this dark age.

Spiritual Thoughts and Spiritual Words

Through The Church, The Holy Spirit is beginning to unveil the mysteries of the Kingdom by articulating and giving expression to spiritual thoughts with spiritual words (1 Corinthians 2:13). It will be Kingdom truth not taught by human wisdom, but the Holy Spirit granting the proper interpretation of spiritual truth through spiritual language. If we choose a receptive posture in this process, we will begin to understand His ways and apprehend His thoughts. The Lord is promising to reveal His thoughts and ways, which are much higher than ours, if we will only follow his prescription for a "higher way" of holiness.

Words, when anointed, become a spiritual vehicle that transports us from one realm to another; or, put another way, the natural word becomes spiritual through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. In John 6:63, Jesus stated the words He spoke to them were both Spirit and life:
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, words attain a spiritual life of their own. The Spirit gives life to the message of the Kingdom which points to the Cross and transports one from the natural into the Spirit realm. At that crossroad, we discover the hope of our calling and the immeasurable greatness of His unlimited power toward those who believe.

Jesus Himself was actually representative of the "anointed Word." He was the Word of God incarnate and He is the Messiah, which translated means the Anointed One. His anointing is the fuel that propels the vehicle. Without the anointing, the vehicle cannot operate. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6).

For the ministered word to become spiritual food, it must proceed from the Lord's Presence through an anointed ministry in an atmosphere of the anointing. As His anointed word is quickened within us and we receive from it an impartation of Spirit and life, we are then growing into His full stature.

Truth Springing Fourth From the Earth

Acquiring knowledge about the Bible is a noble pursuit. However, it cannot be a substitute for knowing Jesus intimately as the Living Word. He is Living Truth. A "word" is a "thought" that has been given expression. Inherent in God are His attributes and thoughts. God gave articulation to His thoughts and virtues through the Word (Logos). The "Word" then became flesh and dwelt among us so we could behold His glory and comprehend the perceptions and qualities of God. Truth sprang forth from the very heart of God in Word form, imparting Spirit and life that is tangible spiritual substance.

Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him that glory may dwell in our land. Lovingkindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth springs from the earth; and righteousness looks down from heaven. —Psalm 85:9-11

The Holy Spirit's spotlight will be on Kingdom truths expressed in the above passage. The salvation here promised is not restricted to eternal life in our heavenly home, but includes deliverance of all kinds—rescue from trouble, distress, and calamity in this generation.
All who truly reverence Him and possess the fear of God rather that the fear of man may expect His impressive support and aid! God desires that the people called by His name possess the confident assurance that He will intervene in their troubles and deliver them.

It is the heart cry of all God's children to see His glory abiding in the land. As the prophet David once wrote: "For Thy lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Thy truth." (Psalm 26:3). As we discover the fullness of the Spirit of Truth and walk faithfully, we will experience His promised inheritance set before our eyes. The Kingdom's benefits—God's glory loving-kindness, mercy righteousness, and peace—are produced by the Spirit of Truth. If we are going to be fruitful, we must be faithful to the Spirit of Truth.

Truth Exposes Deception

The Spirit of Truth will expose the spirit of deception. When this is accomplished, great conflict results between the two camps. Again, we are confronted in our choices by the testing of our motives and desires. If we embrace the correct commission, we will be catapulted to greater measures of loving kindness and righteousness, and we will experience heightened expressions of His glory.

Testing produces choices that we must make in righteousness as we choose each day whom we shall serve. We must especially pray for a guard to be placed before our tongues so that our words are spoken in agreement with Him. Our prayerful petition should continually be for awakened spiritual senses and a covering to be placed around our hearts so we will not embrace deceptions—only the Spirit of Truth.

All our words should be galvanized with charity. Even if words of correction are necessary, when galvanized with charity they will always be fruitful—love never fails.

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ. —Ephesians 4:14-15

If we do not cultivate a love for the truth, especially in the season ahead, we will be turned over to a spirit of delusion. The apostle Paul prophetically envisioned this day and wrote of it:
The one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. And for this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false. —2 Thessalonians 2:9-11

Unfortunately, many erroneous doctrines continue to be embraced in the Church, providing veils that separate us from the One we seek. A powerful release of the Spirit of Truth is coming to those of God's people who are endowed with eyes to see and ears to hear. This visitation of truth is to guide us into all truth, dispelling the lies that have been taught as truth.

The Year of the Warhorse

Greetings all, 2012 is going to be the year of the War Horse, but to understand this we must first understand what a war horse is. In years past, when cavalries were common, generals would lead their troops into battle mounted on their "chargers." From Bucephalus to Traveler, famous chargers left their marks on history.

Horses have not been widely used in battle since World War I though both horses and mules saw limited use in World War II. They have been barely used since then though Special Forces adapted to the use of horses in the early stages of the war in Afghanistan.

My hometown of Miles City, Montana was historically a famous source for cavalry horses. Fort Keogh, located just west of town, was one of the primary U.S. Remount Stations during World War I. In fact, it can be argued that more horses destined for warfare have been shipped from Miles City, Montana than anywhere. The only other place that could rival us would be Fort Robinson in Nebraska. Fort Keogh was named for Captain Myles Keogh who died with Custer at the Little Big Horn. But, it was Keogh's horse, Comanche, that though severely wounded, was the lone survivor of Custer's Last Stand. Custer's horse, incidentally, was named "Vic."

The U.S. Remount program had a large influence in this area and throughout the West when the government upgraded ranch bloodlines by importing blue-blooded horses from the east to cross on western range mares. The history of the Remount Service is chronicled in the book War Horse by my friend Phil Livingston (co-authored by Ed Roberts). Another book, Horse Soldiers, tells the story of the Special Forces using horses in Afghanistan, and of course, some of you have already seen the Stephen Spielberg film, War Horse, which is adapted from a children's story set during World War I.

Chargers vs. the War Horse

In the photo below is our grandson, Creed Alexander Ferguson, on our retired gelding "Shiloh Glory." Shiloh, as we call him, was born in 1985 during the height of our first home-church ministry. His dam was a registered Quarter Horse mare with famous running bloodlines. This "bottom side" – as the mare's pedigree is called in America – carried the blood of Rocket Bar, Hard Twist, Go Man Go, and other famous sprinters. She had the blood of "chargers."

But, we must understand that a "charger" and a "War Horse" are not necessarily the same thing today.

We all know "Chargers" of sorts. And, if we are humble, many of us can confess to being Chargers. Chargers are warlike, militant, martial, and confident. They rush straight ahead at the slightest hint of battle. Famous battles, including Fetterman's Massacre in Wyoming, have been lost because Chargers charged ahead prematurely.

Chargers are great at arousing the troops, drawing their swords, blowing the bugle, and spurring straight into combat. They are not so great at planned tactics, strategy, and coolness under fire. A Charger often knows only how to charge, but a true War Horse knows how to handle himself in combat.

The "top side" of Shiloh Glory's pedigree is all Remount blood. His sire, Gold N Glory was by Mizpah Glory, and all this blood traces back to a once well-established Remount program south of Miles City.

Years ago we entertained a young woman from ABC Sports. She was a top rider on the east coast jumper circuit. The first time she rode Shiloh, who was a young five-year-old at the time, she called him a "war horse." A good rider, no matter what their discipline, knows it when they are mounted on a war horse. "Shiloh" has many meanings in the Hebrew. It was, of course, a meeting place with God, but the word – derived from its root, Strong's #7951 – can mean "safety, tranquility, happiness, and prosperity." Our Shiloh, the gelding above, was officially retired in 2010. We took him out of retirement briefly this summer for the grandkids, but war horses are not baby-sitters. Even in his advanced years, Shiloh's heart beats for the charge. He listens for bugles, not lullabies.

Actually, I considered putting Shiloh down this fall. His knees are arthritic and he gets thin in cold weather, but it seemed, in spite of all odds, that Shiloh was to see the year 2012. Because 2012 is the year of the War Horse.

All prey animals, but especially horses, have a "fight or flight" instinct. The "charge straight ahead" attitude of many "Chargers," can actually be a flight instinct rather than a fight instinct. It is not uncommon for insecure people to mask their insecurities with aggressiveness. Again, it is not the white-hot charge that is a measure of boldness as it is the calm perseverance of composure under fire.

2012, for the Body of Christ, will be the Year of the War Horse. But make no mistake about it, it will not be the rash and brash who are ridden to victory. It will be the calm, collected, and cooly courageous.

"Two Kingdoms and the Choices We Make" (part one)

~ Without our traditions, our lives would be as shaky as... as... as the fiddler on the roof!~ a quote from the Movie "Fiddler on the Roof".

The Lord is causing a major shaking. Some are rebuking demons, while others recognize this shaking as the hand of God in their midst. There are untold numbers looking for answers, but few who will allow tradition and head knowledge to be shook from them.

Great shakings and a great Coalition is taking place at the same time. Father desires His people to understand there is right now a vestige (remnant) of people who are walking away from the tree of knowledge (things familiar and known) and ushering in the Tree of Life with demonstration of Resurrection Life in spite of the unbelieving. These people walk in the love and humility of Christ. They will not argue for arguments sake, they are moving on with or without the applaud of man.

Presently there is a protective spiritual hedge that is keeping "some" within the remnant hidden, and at times unrecognizable to others, for there is an appointed time for them. This vestige of people are called the sons of God. They do not walk in false humility, they boldly walk in the grace and mercy of Christ (I encourage you to read Ps.82:6; Jn.10:34; 1 Pet.1:15,16; 1 Jn.3:7). They listen to the Spirit of God speaking in their spirit which bears witness of who they are (Rom.8:17). These people understand they are already seated in the heavenlies in Christ (Eph.2:6), wherein they are living His life in this present world NOW (1 Jn.17).

The problem with walking in the tree of knowledge is the soulish reasoning that takes place. Our soul only recognizes what it already knows. The word of God tells us to walk in the spirit, not the flesh. As I've explained before, we are three part beings made in the image of the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit). When we receive Christ Jesus into our lives, our spirit automatically becomes saved. Our soul is progressively being saved (maturing – 3 Jn.2; 1 Thess.5:23; Heb.10:39; James 1:21), and our body is the tent (2 Pet.1:13,14). Our spirit is automatically in line with God. It bears witness of who we are (Rom.8:17; 1 Cor.2:9-16). All too often fear keeps the feeble man from receiving the truth, and false humility greatly supports the deafening and blinding spirit of religiosity.

"When I was a child, I spoke as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known (1 Cor.13:11,12)."

Remember, we should allow ourselves to be transformed into the same image of Christ from glory to glory (2 Cor.3:18), otherwise we remain in the "for now". Our soul should be maturing; however, there are too many who still spiritually act and speak as a child. They are continually tossed to and fro, carried about, never growing up into Christ; but growing up into fads and traditions (Eph.4:14; Gal.1:6-17).

When someone comes to the Lord and receives Him as their Savior, it's natural to jump up and down and run to and fro as a child. This is endearing to the Lord; however, when we have been in church for years upon years and still remain like a child there is something horribly wrong. The Lord wants a woman for His Bride (please read S.O.S 8:8-11; Rev.19:7). As adults we don't get excited about tying or buckling our shoes do we? The gifts of the Spirit is something that you and I should flow in naturally, just as we naturally function in our day to day business. We are not taking the gifts for granted, but we have come to a place where we live, move and have our being in Christ. We just "Be".

Let's go back to what our soul knows. The soul is the function of the rational and intellectual. This is why we must live from our spirit, and not the soul; our soul will never be able to comprehend "the wind of the Spirit" (1 Cor.2:14). Our soul (mind, will, and emotions) is powerful. It has the power of choice, and we cannot do anything in life without choice. It decides moment by moment whether it will go the way of the flesh, or the way of the spirit which is already in line with the Spirit of God.

Our soul is the mediator between our flesh and spirit. Our body cannot get to the things of the spirit without the soul. Just as Christ is the mediator between us and Father, and we cannot get to Father without first coming to Christ, our flesh cannot get in line with the spirit unless our soul is in line with our spirit-man. Holy Spirit is the manifestation of both Father and Son. He is the quickening life giving Spirit. When our soul lines up with our spirit-man, our body will manifest both our soul and spirit, bringing forth the quickening within our mortal body (1 Cor.15:50-58). We now can say, we are no longer double-minded (James 1:8; 4:8).

Affirmation of the Open Door - by Paul Keith Davis

Rarely have I preached a message with such clear and concise affirmations as the one I recently shared concerning "The Open Door." I am thoroughly convinced we stand before a divine opportunity for those who have positioned themselves to move forward into a new day.

I included a reference to this message in my recent newsletter saying, "Clearly, we stand before the dual open doors of "opportunity" and "revelation." One is horizontal and runs linearly through time leading us into the harvest and identified with Revelation 3:7-8; while the other is vertical into the Heavens and identified with Revelation 4:1. We shared details on this perspective in our recent SOS meeting that can be obtained through our website or ministry headquarters. I also spoke about it at Chuck Pierce’s Open Door conference the first week of August.”

In these messages I told of a phenomenal rock formation on the ranch of a friend that provided a prophetic picture of the application of this reality and the breaking off of the remnant that would be vertically (heavenly) minded. At the time I shared this at Glory of Zion’s “Open Door" conference, Chuck Pierce joined me at the conclusion of this message and we both began to prophesy. A portion of the prophetic word he brought that day will be included below. During that session I felt a shift in the room and the appearance of angels. Anne Tate, one of Chuck's staff, saw with her open eyes four angels with scrolls and Chuck began to decree the revelation of one of them. He prophesied,

At one point in this message you felt the angelic structure interact into this place. Then all of a sudden Anne said, “There are four angels in the place with different scrolls.” The Spirit of the Lord said, “You will decree a release of one of those scrolls.” The Lord would say, “Watch Washington, D.C. for there will come upon it a physical storm. It will be a sign that cannot be prevented. This physical storm will rest down and when the storm descends, the scroll for the government of this land will be unlocked. I will unwind a structure that has gotten intertwined with the enemy’s plans. I will reinstitute law in this land that has been removed. I am sending angels in at My command based upon the revelation that is being spoken now and from those angelic hosts, a land and its governments will be changed.”

One of the angels had a scroll and he said, “Many denominations have rejected the shifting of one mantle and the wearing of the new mantle. Even as John the Baptist ended the prophetic covenant of one season and that mantle was placed on John the Revelator and opened up for a people, many people have refused to enter in and wear the mantle of John the Revelator. I say to you that mantle now is all that can clothe My people. I have a people now crying out saying, ‘We must be clothed with the mantle of the revelator today.’ It is that mantle that is now being formed and fit for a people to wear. When you leave here the door has now been opened for that mantle to be brought in and placed upon a people. We now know that an extraordinary storm has struck our nation’s capital and the entire eastern seaboard. Many have said this storm is unprecedented in recent memory. I believe it is a clear fulfillment of this prophecy which would lead us to believe the other portions of it will be fulfilled also. I genuinely believe the Lord is offering doors of "opportunity" and "revelation" that will transform our present understanding of visitation and the manifestation of His Kingdom for our day.

In addition to that, I was sharing many of these revelations in a phone conversation with Bob Jones on August 24. We agreed that our generation is entering a time that will produce the reality of Isaiah 60 with darkness covering the earth and deep darkness the people; while at the same time God’s remnant company will begin to shine with His glory. He then said, "it will be the best of times and the worst of times." We both remembered that we had included that phrase in one of the Shepherds Rods, but we could not remember which.

While in the conversation he felt it was important to pinpoint it, so I did a quick search. I discovered that we had included this phrase in the 2006 Shepherds Rod, written in the fall of 2005 on the Date of Atonement. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that phrase was used in a section that I had entitled, "The Scrolls." I will include a portion of that Shepherd’s Rod below.

The Scrolls

Scrolls are a general reference for words from God and prophetic promises. Our call in this hour is to not merely read the word but "eat the Word." When the prophets of old ate the scrolls, it was as though they consumed the prophetic theme for a generation. They then became the message. The Lord does not only want us to have a prophetic promise, but to become the promise.

In Revelations 10 we discover the open book containing the full revelation of Jesus Christ. It is the book of redemption. The church can also begin to expect fresh insight from God's heart that has been reserved for the end-time generation. We are called to take the open book from His hand and eat it. We must prophesy again concerning many nations, tongues, tribes and kingdoms.

As we call upon Him, He is promising to answer us and tell us great and mighty things that we presently do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3) The scrolls descending with the angelic host represent measures of revelation concerning the nature of Christ and latter-day prophetic promises from His word. According to Daniel 12:4,

But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.

These words contained in God’s blueprint will have application within the church and also for our nation in its transition into a more fruitful posture. Again, these promises are not to indicate the complete turning of this nation, but within the core leadership position on key issues. Even so, we are promised a great harvest of souls from our nation and throughout the world.

There will be a grace for those seeking it, but also increased lawlessness for those who spurn God’s hand of mercy. It will be the best of times and the worst of times. Ours is a promise for the restoration of moral virtues to be recaptured that were once lost.

Releasing the Honey and Scrolls

The more righteous prayer ascended before God, increased measures of hope was being imparted to the eagle. As the angels continued to feed the bird through the saint’s intercession, the transformation was initiated.

When the angels fed the honey and the Word of God to the eagle, the poison she had previously consumed began to be neutralized. This process appeared to be approximately a two-year journey. We are presently in a two-year transition.

This eagle is not appointed unto death during this season, but to repentance. She is called to once again eat the good Word of God. The Lord is not finished with this nation. There are prominent things yet to be accomplished before the end comes.

Although many may see the outward condition of the eagle and predict her death, it is not the will of God for this to transpire. It takes people with Heavenly vision to be able to see an exceedingly great army in the midst of a valley of dry bones.

Nevertheless, those that possess eyes to see will prophesy life to the bones and watch the miracle transpire. The future of this great eagle is in the hands of God's people.

A Fullness of Time Juncture

We are living in a crucial moment in the spiritual history of this nation and in the destiny of the Church; a “fullness of time” moment in the plan of God. God Himself is granting to the Church increased authority to stand in the gap for our nation.

Our willingness to heed this call will determine the speed by which the heart of America is transformed from a weakened and poisoned position into the majestic nation she was intended to be. The “great eagle” is called to live in this hour and also to lead. This nation's present eagle molt can be facilitated only through the prayers and counsel of God's people. It will be the consolidated intercession of the Church and the spirits of righteous men and women made perfect. As the writer of Hebrews acknowledges,

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel - Hebrews 12:22-24

We have come to Mount Zion and the city of the Living God. We have come to myriads of angels and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect. All of the Church in heaven and on earth are standing to attention at this most crucial hour in our nation's history and in God's blueprint.

As the Bible depicts, we are presently surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who constitute spirits of righteous men made perfect. The Lord Himself ever lives to make intercession, and those joined to Him do likewise.”

When the righteous cry out, the Lord hears from Heaven. All of this hinges on the establishment of righteousness in God's people and their willingness to stand in the gap.

Our nation's cleansing transformation process has already begun. The molting procedure has been initiated with many of the things we have been watching over the last two years. The direction of the future is in our hands. In Bob's vision, it was the Church of Jesus Christ surrounding our nation that caught God's attention. It is our righteousness, imputed to us by the Lord's blood that is our door of hope. It is our role to bring the spirit of repentance into the Church on behalf of our nation.

Hidden Warriors

Many of the ones who are called to play a key role in this responsibility are not even known on earth; but they are known in heaven. These spiritual warriors have received the imputed righteousness of God and carry His influence.

They have captured the attention of Heaven and it is now time to arise, like Moses from the wilderness, and exercise their delegated authority.

For a season, David was hidden in the cave of Adullam. When the time was appropriate, he and his mighty band emerged in strength to execute the commission of God. So shall it be with this company.

Although the call is for the entirety of the Church, those that will be used most notably in this battle will be many who are yet unknown in a public forum; but they are well-known before the Throne of Grace. Their reward will be great, once victory is achieved.

The heart of this message is for God's people to adhere to His standard of righteousness. Purity and maturity will prepare us to carry great mantels of authority needed for this commissioning.

A primary part of our mandate for this season is intercession for our nation and Israel. A deposit of anointing and authority is being allocated for those who will apprehend it.

Although we are focused on the prophetic promises for the future, much will be determined by our willingness to embrace this present responsibility. Winning this battle will lay a platform for the achievement of many prophetic promises granted to us as a corporate body and as individuals.

Conclusion

Time will determine precisely how these revelations will play out over the course of the next weeks, months and years. I am encouraged in my faith to believe that we stand before a much-needed open door. I am presently in a season of intense prayer and fasting to access the doors of revelation and opportunity.

The Lord recently spoke to me and said, "The pattern for what is coming cannot be found on earth, but only in the unseen realm." I was then given Hebrews 8:5 as a reference. The time has come for us to do things more completely the Lord's way. His thoughts and ways are much higher than ours.

I mainly just wanted to outline these revelations before you so that we can each begin to pray into them and contend for its complete manifestation.
